M&A Director - EMEA Region

| Our client, a major international group, is recognised as a global leader across a wide range of Financial Services business sectors. Over the last five years they have delivered significant growth in revenues and profits through a combination of innovative product development and targeted strategic acquisitions and joint ventures. The group now seeks an experienced M&A professional who can work with business across the EMEA region and lead teams on a project basis, to originate, evaluate, structure, execute and negotiate successful acquisitions. There will also be involvement in developing acquisition strategy and identifying targets as well as the integration of acquired businesses. The breadth of experience gained in this position should provide the opportunity to move into a more senior M&A position within the group or to move into a general management role. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate considerable experience of leading and successfully completing a wide range of transactions in the financial services sector. Applicants who could be working in investment banking, private equity or another corporate, must also be business fluent in English, prepared to travel extensively and have the clear ambition and potential for career advancement. Fluency in a second European language would also be an advantage.
