Our client, a world leading healthcare giant, discovers, develops and markets innovative pharmaceutical products to prevent and cure diseases, to ease suffering and to enhance quality of life. Hugely profitable, they have generated strong shareholder return over a prolonged period and the industry, as a whole, acknowledges their outstanding contribution as a leading member of the global pharma community. In this highly commercial position that actively interfaces with the sales and marketing organisation, the Finance Manager owns the five-year rolling strategic plan, budgets and quarterly updates and develops and maintains a robust cross-functional approach to forecasting. Working closely with the CFO of the business, this crucial role supports the business leadership team, led by the Marketing President, performing challenging commercial business and financial analysis. Specific projects will include financial modelling to find alternative business scenarios, strategic planning analysis, import and parallel trade and pricing analysis through to the development of business reporting. With strong prospects for promotion to a CFO position after two years, the Finance Manager is a critical member of the finance team and is visible to the European Finance Leadership team. We are looking for a commercially astute finance candidate who can develop strong business partner relationships with brand teams to understand the financial impact of performance. Candidates will be used to working with commercial teams and have strong financial planning and analysis skills on a local or international basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join the finance team of a major global company and have a direct impact on finance and strategic planning issues.
