Our client is a global healthcare business and ranked amongst the world's top ten leading companies. Its aim is to create a strong product pipeline with a clear strategy based on developing an aggressive R&D pipeline to enhance their ability to bring new products to market. R&D productivity is measured by the number of innovative blockbusters it can produce. They also have a high market share of prescription medicines that are sold as over-the-counter products. This company is truly admired for its corporate culture and its values are highly appreciated by a motivated workforce. We have two outstanding positions within a small Corporate Development/Special Projects team led by a Global Finance Leader in a region that accounts for over 50% of the companies annual sales. This "visible to top management" team is challenged by conducting business finance, marketing, strategic and operational projects around the international company - these projects have nothing to do with internal controls, accounting or compliance cycles but are commercial/business growth-focused. The work is interesting, challenging and always diverse. The successful candidate will participate at the Group Finance Committee and present at International Executive Meetings. After two years, the Regional CFO will ensure that his team members are promoted into CFO positions - anywhere in Europe, Australasia or Latin America. We are searching for internationally experienced candidates with strong finance and business sense and practical problem-solving abilities. Your ability to drive projects, solve complex issues and communicate effectively with senior levels of management will make you a highly visible and sought-after individual within the company. Being an international position there will be travel but of a manageable level still attractive to a professional with a young family.
